Mental Health & Inclusion

Home Again

A rights-based model designed to support individuals with mental health conditions to live independently within community settings.

Home Again Project

We are proud to partner with The Banyan in implementing the Home Again program in Kanchipuram district — an innovative and rights-based model designed to support individuals with mental health conditions to live independently within community settings. Together, we are redefining mental health care by shifting from institutionalization to inclusion, dignity, and autonomy.

Home Again offers a community-integrated, shared housing solution for persons recovering from psychosocial disabilities. Through this model, residents live in small groups, receive on-site clinical and psychosocial support, and participate in daily routines and decision-making — just like any other member of the community.
